Service Users who are sick, ill or unemployed still make up the majority of our caseload
although we are still seeing an increase in those who are in employment and in poverty.
First Home statistics over the last 4 years noted young people in
employment/apprenticeships increasing from 18% to 32%. Unemployment within this
group over the same period has reduced from 73% to 53%.
The above does not include the Prison Housing Advice Service.
HEY found 19% of 4th year pupils wanted to seek employment/apprenticeship after leaving School.
